Steiner Safari Pro 8x30

From Joe in Ohio:While these are nice looking and have pretty sharp focus they fall down badly elsewhere. These are the only binocular i know of anywhere near this price that are not multicoated. What that means is that there is lots of internal reflection. This causes the image to wash out and have low contrast. Don't even think of using these at night because every light source in view is surrounded with rings of light completely ruining the view. I just cannot believe Steiner would sell
